In 2003, N. Korea met with huge economic problems, and currency inflation. So this kind of high face value Cashier’s Cheque (banknotes) was issued. It has 4% interest annum.It can be circulated in the market as banknotes. And this set of Cashier’s Cheque (banknotes) were abolished in 2005.

The face value is 5,000 Won, 10,000 Won, 50,000 Won and 100,000 Won.
