Changzhou is a large and historical city near Shanghai. The currency of Changzhou traced back to AD 1000’s. And during 1930’s to 1950’s, a very special coins, called “bamboo tallies” came into use in Suzhou. This catalogue has a section of the description and pictures of Bamboo Tallies. There are around 400 different coins/notes/bamboo tallies in this book, each with a picture.
This book is edited in Chinese. But if the reader can not read Chinese, she/he can understand the detail through colourful pictures.
